Industry 4.0 & Digitization

Industry 4.0 & Digitization

Industry 4.0 refers to the fourth industrial revolution that emphasizes the integration of advanced technologies such as automation, IoT (Internet of Things), big data, and artificial intelligence in manufacturing and other industries.

Industry 4.0 represents a shift towards smart factories that are highly automated and data-driven, enabling real-time decision making and a more flexible production process.

The first stage in the journey of IIoT begins with data acquisition. Since the past decade Microverse has deployed solutions for accurate and effiecient data acquisition – either wired or wireless from various plant areas. This includes development of specialized connectors for aggregating data from different equipment, existing legacy PLC/DCS, and customized battery operated wireless data acquisition devices.

Once the data is acquired, there are various analytical models and tools that Microverse has developed for advanced analysis that gives actionable items in areas of predictive maintenance, digital twin, most ideal batch process development and tracking, operational efficiency improvement, amongst others.

A digital twin is a virtual representation of a physical object or system, such as a manufacturing plant, a product, or a piece of equipment. It uses data from sensors, simulations, and other sources to create a highly detailed, real-time model of the object or system. The digital twin allows for the monitoring and analysis of the physical object, and can be used for a variety of purposes, such as predictive maintenance, performance optimization, and virtual testing and experimentation. In the context of Industry 4.0.

Microverse has partnered with the most elite and premier institutes in India for carrying out joint research in the field of automation analytics, digitization, ideal batch analysis, soft sensors, and digital twin.
